Hit Pool 4 on Friday and Saturday of this week fishing off the Alma float (608-685-3474). Terrific early and late bite. Walleyes were few but very good sauger fishing. Heavy hair jigs as the river is low( 3/4 oz) worked well and hot colors were orange, white and green/blue. Live bait did not produce much. Try this great area until hard winter.
