Need help on the best lake

I would like to start making reservations for a place to fish and stay. And was wondering a good lake to stay on (cabin) with a lake abundant with Bass, Cats, Northern, etc. I live in Chicago and am willing to travel up to 5hrs. I need a place I can dock my boat for I will be bringing a 18 ft fibergalss 175hp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
