I was there two Novembers ago. It is a gorgous area. One thing you have to keep in mind is that the water is super clear, so the fish are extra spooky. Natural color jigs and craw trailers and floating rapalas work well. Also, we caught a few pike (or pickerel, i can never tell) in the weedy areas. It seemed like every one of the weedy ares had a fish in it. Good luck and enjoy the trip, it'll be a good one.
