I just moved to IL from TN. Lived 20 miles from Barkley. End of March they will start getting on there beds. Tree tops and laydowns along creeks will produce good. The only problem will be water levels. If they have a lot of rain it will make the lake into a mud hole. Lots of dirty water not to mention lots of debri if the water is high. Check local conditions before you go. Minnows on float or red/white jig tip with minnows are best for this time of year. Yellow Creek and Giest Creek produce really well once they start. Also Bumpas Mills area to KY state line has some nice areas.
