It sounds like you've already done your homework on kayaks - If you're not aware do a google search on "Canoeacopia" sponsored by Rutabaga in Madison, I think it's the weekend of March 9/10. I plan on going go gather more information for myself. I don't have much other information to offer related to kayaks at this point. Are you planning on only kayaking, or do you intend to do any fishing while you kayak?
