I don't know if Kevin told you already or not. He was fishing in
Pastrick yesterday by the boat and the Lake County Sheriff kicked him
along with three other boats out! The sheriff told Kevin that Pastrick
Marina is totally off limits now with the exception of the outer break
wall. He also told him that Buffington is off limits now as well. He
made Kevin and all the others put their boats on the trailers or he was
going to give them all $150 fines. He told him that the riverboats were
going to start going out on the lake again and that was the reason. Have
you heard anything about this? If this is true their will be alot of
upset guys. I know several boats make one of those two places their
number 1 spot including us.

Ed,
Got kicked out of the turn around basin for the gambling boat just outside Pastrick Marina. The Lake Co. Sheriff was going to ticket me but then changed his mind.
Has this become a no fishing area even though it is not posted?
Thanks

CRBT TOURNMENT DIRECTORS RULING
It should be posted No Fishing. That why he couldn't ticket you. If they what to keep you out of there I don't think they can. They would have to move the marina. Those boats coming in and out of the marina wouldn't be able to go into that area also. At least that's what I think? Any ticket in there from the Will County Sheriff could be beat in court, I would think? It's not posted as a restricted area.
I am not going to put any of these areas off limits unless it is posted just as are rules state. If you were to receive a ticket for this reason it will not be use to disqualify your team from a tournament. Any other questions just let me know?
