Is it true what I have been hearing about the Bassin Bandits and the newly changed CHICAGOLAND BASS TOURNAMENTS. I heard thru the fishing grape-vine that they are making up a publication that includes all of their sponsors somewhere in the range of 25, with all of the areas marinas, bait/sports shops and other major companies. I even heard their name at a recent govermental affair with regards to smallmouth bass fishing on the lakefront. Good things!! If I remember right, this last year was the first year they got some sponsors and it goes to show that Bohn and Nega are working very hard toward bigger and better things to come. Changing the name was odviously a excellant move by them. CHICAGOLAND BASS TOURNAMENTS, "Fish the Magnificent Mile" has a ring to it and will attract the big boys. Maybe someday not to far in the future, they will get the blessing of "his honor" and have a City backed event, although I am pretty sure that Bohn and Nega are already working on that. Thanks for giving it back to the fisherman and running a good show. I can't wait to spread the word and look forward to the 02 season.
