Default Eating out of the DuPage?

Are the fish out of the DuPage ok to eat in small amounts? I'm wondering because I live very close to the West Branch and am thinking about trying for some cats in it.

There was a problem with radioactive pollution (Thorium?) near Warrenville. I read about it on this site, and confirmed it with a search online.
Having sampled the West Branch at Knoch Knolls Park (Naperville) for Riverwatch, I can report water quality good there.

I eat em all the time out of the West Branch. That Thorium test is done with. If you don't eat too many too much of the time you'll be fine. I keep smallies once in awhile and fry em up. Yummy!

Default Thorium

Potential problem with radioctive thorium take years to manifest in the human body.
And as a water quality tester for Dupage Co....that's all I'm gonna say.

If I drink 500 bottles of TAB per day I'll get sick too. Plenty of them guides on Lake Michigan eat mercury everyday and they just fine. Now go and get you a chicken pumped up full o them steroids at McDonalds. You're all just listenen too much. I'm havin Drum with milk batter tonight. Caught on Sunday in North Aurora. Take a look at the dictionary on the web for Drum. They call them silver bass and say they are one of the best eatin fish there is. I hear people compare em to carp but they don't know how to cook em.
