Headed there again this morning with the same friend. We had a pretty good day. Ended up with 11 smallies-6 for me and 5 for him. Each of us caught about a 13" fish. I caught all my fish on a small rapala. He caught his on a little Mepp's with the squirrel tail and silver blade. I also caught a green sunfish. We fished from 6-9.

Knoch Knolls is off of Ring Road. If you're going south on Washington you will find Ring Road right before you cross the river. Go right(west) on Ring and you will see Knoch Knolls about a mile down on your left.

Where is Ring road? What suburb and what major highways cross nearby?

Ring Road is in Naperville. The nearest large road I can think of is 75th. Coming from Wheaton I take Naper Road south all the way to 75th. I hang a right(west) turn there and go a few miles until I hit Washington Street. I then turn left(south) and Ring Road is 2 or 3 miles (that's a guess) down. If you cross the river you have gone too far because Ring Road is right before it. I haven't been down there for a few weeks so I don't know what it's like. I'm sure it's only gotten shallower and clearer. Good luck if you go.
