I say fish the deeper spots that are around in the Dupe for now and wait until Fall for the Fall Salmon run and fish a couple hours before you go home " because then the traffic will die down..." . As far as I know for the DuPage the Lisle area is kinda dead for anything but sunfish ( I grew up there not too long ago). Not to say there are some fish just not alot. But I don't know exactly where you are at too so it might be different on your end. Regardless I'd still try and have some fun at it.

Try Mcdowell by the first watefall on the raymond side, just don't throw anything you can't afford to lose. ALLOT of rocks and fallen timber.

There's are lot of great ponds right in your area, take a ride out college rd. Also there's some smallmouths in the dupage by the high school it's not fast fishing but you can catch them up to 14"

the ponds off of college seem dead to me, just a few bluegills and crappie, did manage a small channel catfish on a spinner

believe me there's some nice largemouths in 5 of the 8 ponds. 3 of the ponds are not as productive as years past. but still produce. 2-4lb bass
are in all the ponds. plastics and top water

Fish the ponds at least 2 times a week. Just like every other body of water you have to learn where they are and what time they are feeding. I have spent the last year fishing there and have caught some beautiful Bass out of there. Early morning 4-6 am and 7-9 pm this is when the action is according to my fishing log. Almost all of the large Bass (21.5" was the largest) were caught on a full size 8"watermelon colored worm. Cast to where the fish are holding and slow twitch your retrive. I have tossed hundreds of dollars worth of lures at them and this is what they seem to like best. Good luck!

Default naperville and dupage river

Have you ever been to the Warrenville dam? It is just south of Butterfield Rd. Off Batavia rd. If you need bait or tackle, hit water werks II on rt. 59 and butterfield rd. (head south on 59) Talk to Walt or Tony, if you dont know them tell them I sent you. They know every little lake and pond in the county. Rich

You are talking about the ponds in the green trails area of lisle right? Right off of college. I am going to have to try some different tactics bc I am usually skunked fishing those ponds.

Here is an overview of the area. I fish the three off of college and Abbeywood.
