Walked the Rock Creek for quite a ways upstream of the footbridge, and tried the river downstream of the Creek. Tried Case baits with no luck at all. Various Mepps spinners took 6 Smallies, nothing over 12".
I had to work hard for those fish, after 8 a.m. the bite turned extremely tough.
I did see a rainbow trout around 15" in the upper creek. That was interesting. Also shared some of the pools with some big 'ol carp and numerous suckers. By 11 o'clock it got quite warm and I was just plain tired of walkin'! Good fishin', and See Ya in the River.......
