Get out and hit it!
I picked up a few smallies on the Dupage today. Fish are surprisingly more aggressive than I thought they would be. (my own report to follow)

A fishing partner of mine also caught a few smallies on the Duper this past week. Also had something on that frayed his line and cut it. He's thinking pike but we've never seen pike in the Duper around Channahon so I was thinking perhaps a gar

Down around Channahon, depending where you were in relation to the dam, there are a lot of gar. Have also seen dogfish, and other bruising roughfish. Have never seen a northern in the Duper, but I have seen a musky! So nothing would surprise me.

No good!

Water is still too cold for the area I was fishing in. The fact the wind was extremely bad didn't help the fishing!! Oh well, i'll try in the up coming weeks!
