launch, maybe
head up stream doubtful. there is a rock wall by ryan's pier that won't allow access to the upstream. from what I remember it's very shallow

No...... Very doubtful that you will get a boat in at Aroma Park. Unless you are talking a inflatable raft. Sediment build up has made it impossible to get a boat off a trailer. It's ridiculous!!!! Thanks Indiana.

you could launch at river road park then head up river. I believe it's a $5 fee if you don't have a parking sticker

Hello gentleman i launched at ryans pier yesterday 8/9 and went upstream. I had to walk my 16' jon boat over the wing **** flat. It gets calf deep in the riffle on rite side going up. The right side is the only way to get above the dam. I saw about a 16' v hull get over it too. They actually went up the left side n followed the deep side of dam hugging the wall all the way to the right. N walked it over right side where dam is broken. Guys b careful there. Current is crankin at the wing dam and u cant alway see the holes. But for those of you brave enough to go upstream the smallies are off the hook! My brother (who lives on the river about an 1/8th of a mile upstream of the wing dam) and i got 50+ smallies yesterday. They were either on the holes with rock bottom or on the shallow sand bottom with scattered wood. Id post some pics but dont know how yet? Any one with advise trichi13 is listening?
Tight lines!
