Default What's downstream from the Conservation Area

I fished the river for years out of the town of Kankakee from the Dam down to the 113 takeout by the stone buildings. Haven't fished the river in a few years.
I have a Q about putting in downstream of the I-55 bridge at the conservation area.
Instead of going upstream to the shallows, What is happening downstream down to the area around the County Line Bridge and beyond?
Feel free to PM if you want. Thanks

Fox Hunter. Yes I see that. Looks like a big party place on some flats on the S side also. But I'll be out on a weekday morning. Off the water by 10:00am
Maps show several cuts and I can see a lot of docks. Some near the channel. And of course, lots of pads but I'm guessing they are in a couple feet of mud. What is the fishing like down there?

I have never fished it, but have been at boat launch several times when tournaments are weighing. They catch some nice fish. There is a creek or something just upstream from the launch that gets fished heavy, don't know what's in there

the backwater channel with all the pads has docks and lily pads about the size of a pizza pan. The water is deep enough to traverse through. There were about 8 or 9 bass boats back there this weekend fishing in a IBN tournament.

Weekday mornings are ideal around this stretch of the river. I have not had good luck on the lily pads just west of the bridge and there usually is a stretch of lily pads around the horn on the DesP. Docks, seawalls and backwater is where I have had the best success.
