Default 8/20/13 Walleye

Got out to Momence..caught a Walleye on the first cast..eater size. After that, nothing.
Sun sets, notice its a full moon. Is there something to Walleyes becoming more active during full moon phases

Not when the moon is showing! Better to fish cloudy nights during the full moon period. My three biggest eyes have came during the full moon period on cloudy night and rainy nights [ 14.2lbs 13.8lbs and 13 .2 lbs] Something about that full moon on a clear night seems to spook bigger eyes

Wow... those are some massive fish. I have yet to top 5 lbs!
Interesting observation. I'm noticing your 3 biggest eyes came during full moon phase. What is it about that phase? !

I don't know exactly why as there are other factors involved such as barometric pressure and having stable weather, different seasons! I do know most of fresh water records are taken during this period along with trophy game. Here is a interesting read about this subject!
