Default top water

the top water bite is still going strong..buzzbaits and poppers were on the slow side, the big producer was walking the dog type baits..smallies ranging from 8-15" were very aggressively knocking this thing out..river is still in great shape and these cooler temps should really get em' going....

Thanks for the report Scott, gotta love a good topwater bite. They should keep hitting it into October I'd guess, or until the water goes under 60 degrees or so

You're from Dwight? I'm curious as to who you are considering how small my hometown is, lol.

Wetwader- it is indeed a small town. My name is Jeff Marshall. Fish a lot on the Mazonia circuits and all around us really. Also, do quite a bit of hunting around the area as well. nice to make your acquaintance if I dont alrerady know you?

Actually Dave we are looking at houses to buy closer to work. Will be farther to hunt and fish at my public spots but I suppose it's smarter to be closer to work since even days I can't hunt/fish i'll still have to work
