Default Pop R 9-17 w/pics

The day started with dinks in the cloudy, cooler temps. As the weather warmed mid day so did the Pop R bite. Probably caught 10 fish total with the four pictured below caught in the afternoon when the sun started to peak through the cluds. Smallies located in heavier current runs near larger boulders. They were chowing the Pop R (see pic). Watched the resident Osprey 'take the plung' but came up empty. The biggest today 2.25/2.5 lbs? Caught a small one on a buzzbait, one on a paddle shad, and one on a tube. The 4 good ones all came on the Pop R.

Nice job on the topwater smallies.

Nice smallies! I have the same combo but with a supreme instead of the president, such a sweet set-up for the price.

Keep rockin the K3, one of my favorite places in the area.
