Default Maple Lake (CCFP) First '09 Bass!

Wow, what a long hard winter! Finally open water. And got the first bass of the season. Always good to get a 2009 fish on the 2008 license! Caught on a floating Rapala, amongst a lot of dead weeds.

Thanks M,

As for making the picture show, I thought I did what you said. What step did I miss? I was on the Pbucket site and in the area it says "Do you want to share this photo", I selected the URL and copied the link. I then pasted the link as it is seen in my original post, but all I get is the letters for the link.

I can and am willing to search for the answer on previous posts if you say so... but I feel like I am so close!

Steve

nice bass! Used to fish there in 90's and I bet some of them we used to catch on bass assasins are still swimming around! My son got his P.B. there yrs ago around 95. On a worm under a bobber no less ! Opposite shore we used to fish I hear they stocked pike there ? Would imagine some of them may hit bass lures as well. Good fishin......

jerkbait,

Just find the [img]link[/img] link and copy that.

This picture should visually explain how to find the IMG tag, you might need to click on the picture to make it larger...

Great to see, have only pearched so far this year. Maple Lake? Have not fished their since early 80's. Looks about the same, size wise. Was always great to go out after work for a few hours and catch those little guys. Keep it up, it will get better. This time of year it is usually those little guys that will hit in the cold water. Of course when the cabin fever is hitting any fish feels great.

Signed,

Default maple lake

I use to wade at maple lake years ago. I caught some pretty good size fish there. I don't know if they allow wading now. I use to fish the east side of the lake where there are a lot of under water stumps.
