Default Bass and pike hitting at Saganashskee

I landed some maybe 10 to 12 inch largemouths near the boat dock. A few pike were being taken by some. I had three pike hit and 3 cut lines all on white 3" tails right be shore. The pike I lost were big. You know, I got 10 pound test FireWire and the pike still cut it. Nothing going on for me at Mpale Lake. Maple is considerably colder. Saggy's warming fast, because it's so shallow.

How big is your yak Chris? I know of a few spots. Some legal, some not so much, but not a big deal if you get caught(least from what i hear, i've never been caught).

You always have the back lake at Lemont Quarries, i fished there yesturday. Would absolutely love to get out there on a boat, it's stained more than the other lakes.

Is there more then one saggy or are they all connected. Cause the sign says like saggy East. so i was wondering if theres a totally seperate location or if its just one slough with different access points using cardinal directions as a name on sign.?

fished there yesterday with crankbaits and got skunked many people using live bait. Seen carp swimming by the dam area.

Any suggestions for bass and pike?

I'll let you know, headed out there today after work. As far as I know, it is just one big body of water.

Your thinking of Sag quarries on rt 83. There's an East and a West quarry there. Saganasskee Slough is just one big shallow body of water. Theres one deep hole around 15ft in the SW corner, aside from that the lake is mostly 4ft deep if i'm remembering the contour map correctly. That lake usually has a nice chop on it because it's so long and wide open.

Chris, i got your PM this morning so check your box.

I don't think Snag~a~nasty gets as deep as 15 feet. Not according to the Depth Contour map here:

This is a nice little site that has the CCFP lakes:

Good call, i've looked at that map a couple of times as i debated fishing it. I thought i remembered that back hole being 15 on the map. Sadly I was wrong. that lakes so **** shallow it boggles my mind how the fish survive the winters.
