Default Ponds around addison

Hey, i am trying to get out more and more with my son to some local ponds and such and all the ones i pick their never good. I mean we can catch like a ton of dink blkue gills but hes 14 and has been fishing since he was 2 hardcore like i mean 3 times a week since that age. And every year we have a famliy vaction to Canada.
so what are some goods ponds around here that we could catch some decent fish?

Mallard is good, and close to Addison.

west branch forest preserve isnt 2 far from you an i always do pretty good there, but in addison itself , right across from armytrail high school me an my buddys go blue gill fishing there but were always nailing big crappie an bass off this little bit of worm, last week my buddy caught a 13 in crappie there an few nice 14 in bass.

I live up the street from that little pond. Me and my father put about 50 bass in that pond and last year we finally start to catch em. The biggest bass ive caiught their was a 7 pounder which was a bass that i put in their about 5 years ago. That was hard to revieve him in that.

I live in the cricket creek forest preserve area. I've always done decent in the main lake(farthest north). It used to be really good but 3-4 years ago there was a massive fish kill. Its been pocking up steady. Try using a popper or a cd7 casting parralel to.the shore.
