Default 3/18/18

Headed out again today. Another cold start. Fish were in 22-26fow. Dragging crawlers and minnows behind a split shot. Water temp was 42 at best. Did a little bass fishing with no takers. Maybe next week...

We've still got some ice here on Apple Canyon Lake. So, lake is closed and can't drop the boat in until all ice is off...

Nice haul in freezing temps.

Going to Toledo Bend for black bass this week end. 75 degrees and sunny.

How's the water level? I went over there Dec1st last year...turned around and went home cuz the water was so low.

According to the Foxwaterway site, its about 1 foot below normal pool level. On the chain, that can be a big difference.

That's not too bad. Had to be at least 2 feet down last Dec when I tried to go. F'ing system! They should wait until Dec1st to start the draw down instead of Nov 1st.
