Default Chain advice

A friend wants to rent a boat at CJ Smith's on Sunday.
I figured we'll be fishing live bait all day, but don't fish the Chain much at all.
If anybody wants to throw a bone my way in terms of spots/techniques, I'd appreciate it.

Since you're limited to a CJ Smiths rental, I'd say start fishing boat lifts and docks, wood and bridges. Spring, Petite and Bluff would be your best bet. Without electronics you're kind of limited. I haven't been out there in almost 2 months Don't know the water levels or if the drawdown began.

Spent some time reading old posts, I think the drawdown has occured by now.
You're correct, my friends 1973 ? 6 horse is not gonna be moving us too fast.

I figure we'll fish the obvious structure first, then move deeper as the day progresses.

Thanks for the update.
My friend cancelled, so maybe I'll try the DCA on Monday.
