Don't bother lol
Me and a buddy hit the water around 2-3pm. Worked channels off the Fox River South of Pistakee. Then headed North into Dunns Lake and some more channels. Then headed up to Lake Petite and worked some channels. We don't use live bait and tried to throw the opposite of each other. If I was fast he as slow and if I was using large he was using a smaller presentation. Had our asses handed to us. Took us a long time to figure out the channels were not holding fish. Tried working deeper water ajacient to channels and finally started marking fish in 8-10 feet of water. Hooked a decent white bass on a chartreuse blade bait. That was it for the day. Barely saw any fish other than a few carp jumping. Water was really cold. 49-52 in most open water. Channels were actually colder than shallower and deeper you went into them. Water is also very very dirty from the rain. Water level is back to summer levels with the rain though. If you live far way hold off till the water is warmer or your gonna leave frustrated like me lol.
