Default Goat Pond Redux

Out checking the flow and color of the local rivulets and streams, was pretty close so decided, "What the Heck?"

Stop in and see Richard and his mom...
Richard ain't grown much maybe even bit thinner.

Well the pond is a pretty shade of blue. And the gills were hungry for my grasshopper colored hotntot popper.

Can you tell the camera was in Vue for the first lap of the Goat Pond? Had to struggle to get nice ones for camera.
Got rope burns on fingers from first few.

This one I missed about 5 times but finally nailed him.

There are some stunning examples of bluegill color in this puddle.

Well there is always a spoiler in the bunch.
His big brother sucked down a gill about 7 inches long that was sizing up my popper.

I had a blast. I'll have to figure out how to get lost up there again.

I didn't get a chance to ask what Richard did to get a leash and a diet but knowing goats he might have been close to sausage. Everybody bailed out to volleyball game so I tossed them all back. I can't believe the hole the big ones make in water hitting popper. There is a couple of huge bass in there.
