Default Fishing in a Cave?

Well almost the jig was tossed way back and out of sight but the splashing in there got the best of me.

First up the spoiler.
Lot of guys try for these not sure why. Maybe capers and rosemary would fix them up.

Then we got crappie.

Then what happened here? I caught a bunch like this lately.

And your wee froggie pix.

Now is this a rock bass, these lake things got me?

Used to fish down by Terrible Haute and catch hundreds of these things they were very soft compared to other fish. Good redear fishing where they were though.

Looks like an odd colored Green Sunfish... usually have bright chart. tips on the bottom fins. Big mouth and very aggressive.

Have a club outing at E on the 4th of Oct. Gonna be hunting for some greenies about 3 times the size of your first pic... but, I usually just drag water down there.

Looks similar, but it's not a rockbass.

The facial stripes and red spot at the end of the dorsal fin give it away as being a goggle-eyed perch (warmouth)

Rockies don't have the bluegill like colors either.
