There is an article in Illinois Outdoors this month. I haven't read the article yet, just skimed through it. However They said days over 100 bass arent uncommon. Mostly 14"-16" but there are big ones too. So I would say yes its worth going too, need a partner? Mops

no gas motors on the boat.... and it is 4000 acres of water.... it is like "the slough" on steroids!

From the article this place sounds pretty awesome, and well worth the drive, but no gas motors sucks. Does anyone really take off the outboard to go to electric only lakes? Why do they have this regulation. Is it to intenionally limit the fishing pressure? Furthermore, don't you think a lake that big is somewhat dangerous with only electric motors to rely on? Anyway good luck, and post your reports!!

Are there bucketheads there? What do they normally wear so I can avoid them?
