Clinton 4-4 and 4-5
Launched friday morning around 10 a.m. into 30 mph winds and 40 degree air temperature. Water at dishcarge was 75 degrees, 60 basically everywhere else on the hot side. Fished both days almost exclusively between the 54 and 48 bridges. Caught a fair amount of bass on Friday and Saturday morning/afternoon with the afternoon being the better bite on both days. We tried a bunch of different stuff fishing main lake shorelines and in some coves, also fishing the mouths of the coves. Friday we basically had the lake to ourself with the high winds, but Saturday there was at least 100 other boats on the lake. 75 were part of a high school tournament, so it was a bit hectic. The old man took me to school, not leaving much behind for me to catch. Friday he caught a 4+ pounder, a couple threes, and several twos. I added in a couple twos myself and we both caught a few 1 pounders. Maybe 12-15 fish Friday? Saturday was a rough morning and we didn't really start catching til after 9 a.m., after launching at 6 a.m. Same basic results as Friday, maybe not quite as much weight but still solid numbers. He added in a nice 3lb? walleye and two whiteys that we took home for dinner on Saturday night. Deeelish. All in all it was a good trip with hard baits doing most of the damage. Also caught a couple on a chatterbait and senko too. I'll attach a couple pics of each of our big bass for the trip and the walley/whiteys
