Just got back from Turkey Run, IN, and **** it was great. There for two days and caught about 30 fish. All small mouth with exception of one shad. You can tell they were about to spawn, and it was great. Each fish was atleast one to two pounds. The biggest I got was a little more than 3 lbs, but even the smaller ones fought like crazy. I didn't keep one either, so they are still out there for you. They would hit everything and anything all day. Spinners, crankbaits, topwater, jigs and live bait. The locals taught me a lot down there and its a great place to go, and bring the family. For me it was a sure spot to get the kids involved and enjoying fishing. And also Turkey Run has all the scenic hikes and caverns. We fished Sugar Creek, in the state park with little luck, still got some, but go down the road a little past the park to Waveland Lake, and let the good times roll.
see you out there
