Default I can't believe my eyes..

...did I just see a news segment about Urlacher doing so pay-per-view wrestling? I mean, don't get me wrong, I always knew he was a few fries short, but I didn't know he was this foolish. Oh well, more football mumbo jumbo, all in preperation of Ditka's levitra commercial. I think I heard it will be between 1st and 2nd quarters. Am I the only one who thinks this year's game is gonna be a yawner??

I often wonder how greedy people can get. With all the dough Ditka was getting as the coach, and with all the dough Erlacher is getting, why in the **** would they belittle themselves on those commercials. My only guess is Greed.

I dunno , if someone offered me 10 million I'd do the same thing , heck why not . I always said that if the opportunity struck and I was made a proposal to do something really nuts , I would for the right amount of money . Everyone would say , look at him , what a goof , as I pull away from my mansion in my maserati.

I think Greed is a nice way of putting it. Down right money *****'s would be more appropriate. Then again, I would agree with bassmastr that with the insane amounts of money offered, they just can't say no. I would like to believe that if I was one of these "already overpayed" celebrities , that money would no longer be the object, and my reputation and social respect would come into play. I hope someday I am forced to make that decision.

I know what you're saying guys, when we talk about the absurd ammounts of money big buisness will throw at people to get them to do silly things. What I don't get is how Urlacher can do stuff like that, with such a promising career at stake. I know wrestling is all scripted and such, but accidents do happen, ask former bull Jay Williams.

So what do you guys think of what gonna happen on sunday? Super game? Dud? Watching for the commercials? Quoting Mike Imrem of The Daily Hearld, I think the higlight of the game will be the guy who brings the best chip dip.

I didnt think of it in terms of accidental injury flying off those stupid ropes and the like............good point. That is a silly risk . I think the Pats are going to destroy them so badly , that they will want to quit by half-time . The commercials to me arent all that important to be honest (usually time for potty break) . The half time show is usually spent cooking up some more hot wings .
