Default Inflatable life vest

For sale is a inflatable life vest. It is a Cabelas Auto/Manual vest, Adult size. It inflates with either CO2 or by mouth. Has been worn, but never inflated or in the water. CO2 cartridge is still untapped. Like new condition. Model SL6F

Cabelas price is 99.99, mine is on sale for 50.00

I always wanted one of these Mustangs or whatever the other one is but they were like $300 or so.

Has the price gone down that much mo ? Its still the type that of you have it on and you fall in the water it fills auto correct?

Just never seen them for so cheap. What the skinny on that Ff ?

Not an auto fill. There is a handle you have to pull.

Oh OK I see. Makes sense. Thank you for clarifying. Seems like a good buy regardless. Good luck.

PediB, If you are interested in the inflatables, there are manual inflate, auto inflate, and a combo vest (above) with both options. These may be susceptible to deploying in the rain and high humidity. Mustang offers these as well as HIT technology which they claim will not deploy in humidity or rain. You should try on these vests before you buy them. Some are more comfortable than others especially the way they sit on your neck. The $100 Cabelas vest, which is what I have on my boat, is much nicer than the $100 Mustang, which was my previous vest. I still carry standard vests as well. With a standard vest there is no chance of it not inflating.
Secondly, in the state of IL and WI, for an inflatable to count as a PFD it must be worn. If you get stopped and all you have is inflatables, and they are tucked away in storage, you will get a ticket.

This one can also be inflated by mouth.
