Default Door County Fall Jerkbait Fishing Tips

Here is a video I made from a trip last weekend to Door County. We caught some real pig smallmouths and I want to share how we did it.

Cool. Well done. Glad you had a good time and thanks for posting it.
Always bothered me when guys put Smallies/Walleyes in a live well to get the cool, look at me, we killed'm pics.
I suppose I'm a conservationist at heart, if I'm not eating then eyeballs back they go.
Oh well to each his own I suppose. You hooked'm do as you wish

Disappointed I never made the trip this year and Ranger sits in the garage another year. Sucks mo.
Speaking of I need to store her for winter, anyone have any suggestions?

Closest lead I have is an hour south, $450 in Mokena.

I've kept smallies and largemouths a few times. They taste good, but if I'm gonna fry up some fish, I'd rather take home something a bit easier to skin most of the time.

I fished across the lake in Michigan end of sept- early oct. It was terrible!! Water was in the low 60s and the fall colors were way behind schedule.

Well, thanks mo I appreciate hearing aboout that as I've been down on myself for not getting out at all...

Only fishing I really did to speak of was that 3 day outing over by Bobby's place in Montello fishing Bronzebacks in Lake Green. Boomer of a season, hooked less than a half dozen at Burnam this year as well...

Well Rigs in New Lenox got that done Saturday stored and idling so until next year when maybe she'll get wet then...
Basically seventy five a month at $450 until 4/31/18...

Lance has invited me to Muskegon but need a rig. Andys talking about heading up Bay de Noc over Thanksgiving which is a possibility as long as it tolerable weather and no ice that is. We'll see.

Later boys...
