Marty, Get yourself some good quality speakers that you can set out on your porch pointed towards the lake. Play this catchy tune for the 'yotes and I will guarantee no more uninvited visits from them.

Ha! Paul,I need some sub-titles in English though! Already got a pair of 80's Klipsch Heresy's. And I think my receiver goes to 11 lol! However, the way sound carries out here I'm sure the ACL mall cops would be on me in no time! But, it would indeed scare the coyotes.

The ice gone out west? I'm going to get the boat out of storage this weekend weather permitting. Maybe on the water next Saturday if the weather keeps up.

Paul, looking at the temps over the next week or so we should have a decent melt off here. But, I think the nights are still going to be too cold up here to thaw out fully for quite a bit longer. Through my binocs it looked to me the ice fishermen yesterday (high of 50 degrees) were busting through at about 14"-16" inches thick still here. At one point this winter the ice looked close to 2' thick! Pretty cold up here in December and January this year. 480 acres of 14"+ ice cube - gonna take a little while to thaw I would think!

Don't know for certain if the cougar sighting has been confirmed with the DNR, but there's a pic of an adult male (of course) in our local newspaper and it's clearly a cougar. Several homeowners apparently also saw it. Kinda cool and kinda hair raising at the same time!
I love and miss that area. Either would be a great place to live.
