Default Water at Lake Cook Rd and Hicks, Palatine IL - Fish?

There's a no-name body of water at this intersection and a small u-shaped pond; my guess is it's real shallow based on the thin strip island but I'm not sure and wondering if there's fish in there. Anyone checked this area out? Here's the map link:

Bronker welcome to CLF Mo. Best Chicagoland fishing site around. 1st of it's kind often imitated but never, ever duplicated. You've come to the right place. The guys are full of knowledge, experience and fun nature, everything is cool on CLF while being done in good taste.

Holly chit town, you're since Jul 2005 and this is your 1st post? It's taken you 13 years Bronker to post a question like that? A little gun shy are we, premature arrival kind of guy ? Ha ha awesome, glad you got your adrenaline up guy, better late than never mo. Feels good, cool too post it doesn't' it ?

Your now a pretigious member of the CLF NLAV Chapter? No what that is yes right?

As relates to your inquiry others may chime in and give you the skinny. Map link ha! No offense mo, here's my take on it, In today's world of google, immediate information at your fingertips, one would just want the answer to, hey tell me now, I'll check your post later when I get a chance, is there fish there?

Why not scout it out on your own guy. It's referred to Bronker as "fishing it".. Scout it out, go there and take a few casts while enjoying that scouting experience of finding out on your own. My suggestion is pick a nice day and go there take some casts, get some fresh air, check out the scenery, heck if your single you might even get phone number of a hottie walking by in her tight skirt, high heels

All in all, check it out mo you may just enjoy finding out on your own. Then post how you enjoyed it, except don't post if you caught a 20" there or you'll have Stashe and their neighbor hanging out there, follow?

Kinda like, would you like someone to tell you what it's like to kiss a young woman soft puffy lips while looking at her beautiful green eyes, water a beautiful young flower or would you rather learn about it by posting a question on the internet? Answers obvious isn't that true?

Allright, allright aaaallright. Have a good one brotha .

Bronker!? I love that and it's a 1st, so is being referred to as "guy" in an online forum by a guy who loves emojis and pointing out the obvious! Lol. Surely I know I can paruse the area myself and throw a line in, I aint's no moe-ron.

Now, as to why it took me 13 years to post - gun shy? Nope, that's not it pb blaster, I was in a coma and I just got out so I'm looking to do some world-class fishing at lake unknown swampy lookin' area by high-traffic Lake Cook Rd. next to Menards in beautiful Palatine, IL! Lol

It's just a curiosity thing broheem; I've driven by there a few times and I'd rather give Busted Woods a try than waste my precious free time scoutin' and fishin' a random body of water in the hopes of landin' a lunker. You know what I'm sayin' chiefarooni?

Your boat hasn't left the driveway in at least 5 years. He has more of a chance catching fish walking aimlessly around Palatine then he does relying on you.

Some years ago, I guy I knew said he tried to fish it. He said it was near impossible to get to the water, very swampy area. He said when he left he was covered in ticks. On top of that, there was an old sign, NO Trespassing. Take it for what its worth. Not sure what side he was on.

Lol. I was thinking it's probably an inflatable raft with one broken oar. Arrive at shoreline and pb blaster's grinning while giving the thumbs up.
