There are an abundance of pike in Northern IL and Southern WI lakes. You'll need a boat to access most of them

Thank you for responding. I did some research on YouTube and found some good places to catch northern pike along other species of fish.

Thank you to everyone who offered me help. I had a great weekend and caught lots of fish including a very nice muskie on artificial. Also caught smallmouth bass, walleye, largemouth bass, and other fish. I released all the fish with the exception of the walleye since it was a keeper and less than a quarter of an inch from being 23 inches long. The walleye tasted good but I have eaten much better tasting fish that I have caught before. Now is a good time to go fishing and I recommend you fish the rivers when you get a chance.
