Are you guys in the north zone getting any new birds down with the colder weather and snow in Wisconsin. I am in the central zone in Iroquois county and we have yet to get any migraters. Last week I saw one group following 57 down and we got them to come about a quarter mile over then they headed back to the interstate and kept going south. These local birds are just so educated it seems like they see decoys and head the other direction. We have been careful not to over use the same fields but the darn things won't even feed in the same one 2 times in a row. It is not supposed to be easy but getting some to work would even be great. Heading to Union county next weekend to try some ducks if they are still there. Sounds like they are in for a good snow in S. Illinois this weekend. My buddies are heading to Carlyle again but can't get away this weekend. They have had good luck down there and reports say they still have a lot of birds.Maybe some will stick around Horseshoe and we will get them next week.
