Default what weight broadhead is beter

if i have a 55lbs or 57lbs of draw weight what weight is beter for me 100 grain or 125 grain

we are taking about thunderhead pro series broadheads, i had trouble tuning my muzzys and when i had to shoot my old bow and got good penetration with them i decided that thunderheads were the boradhead i was going to use. I need to know what size head i need for 55lbs of draw weight from my new fred bear bow that is very fast

Does more weight me more penetration or does it just mean it is bigger

i bought a bow for only 50 dollars and this is considered my old bow it is a browning that is going to be in a picture that will be on my last post if the moderater puts it up. This is a very slow, low technology bow.

I ama new person to bowhunting and i love it and this is why i have so many question.

Thanks for everbodys help and i really appreciate you guys answering all my questions

What's up? I shoot a jennings g2xl and it's set at 60 lbs. I use muzzy 100 grain 3 blade broadheads and didn't even have to change a pin on my sights. For sights I'm using a trophy ridge 5 pin. This combo has prooven to be very accurate with both field points and broadheads. For your setup I would stick with 100 grain broadheads. Also shoot 100 grain field points. I think the brand you should use is whatever your comfortable with. I've had good luck with the penetration and flight of muzzy's so I stick with them. If thunderheads have produced good results for ya stick with em. Congrats on that 6 point you got. I haven't been so lucky this year but I'm goin out tomorrow morning. I think the second phase of the rut should be happening or close to happening and with the dusting tonight with colder temps maybe!!!! Well hope this helps ya. Good luck.

I live on elmhurst ave (not 83) 4 blks down from the post office at elmhurst ave and central. I do live for bowhunting. I went out this morning and was very hopeful with the snow and cooler temps but managed only to see 1 doe. Oh well!!!!! If ya ever want to go shotting let me know as it is getting close to the time I put the broadheads away for the year and just concentrate on sharpening my accuracy. I got a pretty good range that is usually empty about 50 mins away. See ya.
