Braved the high winds Sat. night for another go at Burnham Harbor. Strong west winds made the west wall my only choice. Fished from 7:00 til 10:00 pm. Caught first king about 9:00 on a white magnum wiggle wart. First fish was a 18 lb male, dark. 2nd fish took 3 jumps then proceeded to saw off my wart on a dock. Since light colors were working and fish hit within one or two cranks, figured they were riding high. Put on the ol' faithful pearl flatfish. Had 3rd fish on for awhile, then a jump and quick release.
Security came by a few times, but it must've been too cold for him to get out of the car. Had a float out with spawn all night, no takers. My money is still on rattling light color cranks!
