Wisconsin public land.
A while back there was some thread or another about this and one of us CLF'ers said he went to northwestern Wisconsin and hunted public land around Hayward/Spooner area? I was wondering if I could get a little more specific details about that. The name of the forrest, what highway it's off of, lodging etc. I hunted public land near Rhinelander a few years back and thought I was on Omaha beach...wayyyyyyyy to many dudes out there with 7MM Win-mag auto-loaders. I probably will hunt private land this fall near Watoma but it never hurts to have options. Next year I know a friend from out-of-state wants to hunt Wisconsin so I figured I'ld ask now and spend a year doing some research.
