"Angler's Dream" board game?
Has anyone ever heard of the board game "Angler's Dream"? It was made in 1985 by a real estate agent in Tinley Park. I guess it did pretty good back then but just faded away. I happened to meet the guy who made it and he just pulled out about 200 of his last games from his dad's attic. He was nice enough to give me one today, pretty cool game. You roll dice, numbers on dice X number of ounces for the card you pull = weight of fish species for that card. Catch your limit before other players. There's a little more to it but it's a pretty cool if you think about fishing 24/7. He sold them for $29.99 then but said he would get rid of them now for $15-20. Just think, a fishing board game with Muskie, LM, SM, Perch, Northerns, Gar, just about everything! If I can make it to the cookout, maybe I cold bring a few sets if anyone is interested. I got my wife and daughter to play and they actually said they would play again!
