Default TURKEY HUNTING JODAVIES COUNTY

I Was just wondering who else drew permits to hunt Apple river Canyon State Park this Spring. I drew 2nd season so i was curious to see who else will be out there!!!!

Yeah, spent alot of time up that way...geeze thats like turkey capitol of Illinois. I usually saw them right at a tree line, where forest meets a grassy area, they would be just a few feet out onto the grass. i saw some pretty big gobblers too.

yes ghost, we've done pretty good up that way. We've taken a few birds in the past, but havn't been there in a couple of years. Ive been going down to missouri every spring instead, but im getting tired of paying that 145 $ permit fee every year too. So i decided to come back to illinois.
