Default Hey Baby

I am kind of a rookie boat fishing the big lake, I would post more, but what am I supposed to say, hey I caught 3 while all you guys caught 10? Of course once I get it down and have some different perspectives I will be glad to share! I am out almost every Saturday, feel free to give me a shout on the radio and I will tell you where and how I caught my 2 fish . I usually bounce between 16 and 68, my boat is called Still Afloat. Anyway enough about me, and my lack of success. My question is can anybody tell me what color a "Hey Baby" spoon is?

Tangler- all year I have launched out of Northpoint and typically have headed south towards the stacks. Depending on whether the guys I am out with Saturday have WI licenses I may try heading north out of the harbor this weekend.

Lotsnake, there is a lot to know about fishing the big pond. Been doing it for 13-14 years now, and still learning new tricks. The lake has changed a lot too, since I started.

If you are getting a couple or 3 fish every time out, consider it great for a rookie!

For gosh sakes, we don't always catch 10, nor do all the charters. Some days are just real tough! I am just happy I haven't been skunked in about 3 years, and that's more luck I think than anything.

Heck post what you get, what works or what didn't, it is sure to help someone anyway! Maybe me?

Jim- thanks for the encouragement! I have no plans on giving it up anytime soon, I will be limiting out soon....
PS has Bunky told you he has given up on his gaff idea? He is thinking bow and arrow might be the better option, then you get to combine 2 sports in one

I just joined CFL after looking for advise on the big lake. I've been fishing this lake since I could walk with my dad. Now that I have my own boat and taking my own kids fishing, I have had good and bad days on the lake. I will be posting my reports from each weekend.

See post from last Sunday.
