Yep it wasnt too bad.

I STRONGLY suggest if going, grab a partner and get the 4 man shack. Lots more room and storage. It has 4 bunks, so take the mattress from the top and move to bottom. COMFY rack! Then store your gear on the top bunk. Worked pretty well for me and Smeltaholic.

Not sure about that Joe, I was going to ask Rockman about it but forgot. I think it is a 6 hole with cookstove??

Ed, When will the deadline be? As of right now it is a no go for me as I am going to be up north at the end of Dec, and trap on the weekend of the Jan. 21st, followed by the Pelican Lake tourney and possible Reedsburg in Feb. Just to much fishing to do and wife wants me to stay home and cuddle, Whats with these women, don't they know that ice is coming!

If more houses are needed we should get right on it.
If you plan to go even if you don't win a spot from the drawing, let it be know so more houses can be secured if need.
They are going to go fast soon.

I'd like to do it again, only dont take so much stuff this year, I allready loaded up on cigars. Maybe split a 2 man, if I don't win, and somebody else who doesn't want to cook, just snaks and eat at rocky's. I hate cooking! Let me know the date so I can make my calender stright.

So, is this a "serious" fishing trip or is this just a fishing trip? I'm o.k. with either, I just wana to know what to prep for. I suppose since this is a Mille Lacs trip, the focus will be the eyes'?

Any chance at a big northern
