Default Boats,boats,boats.....and fish too!

launched out of the rock at about 8:00 this morning. You should have seen the river from the bridge. One could almost jump from boat to boat and cross the river without getting wet. Reminded me of a few years up in freemont. Anyway, bite was slow till about 11 then picked up some. We caught and saw alot of short fish caught. Managed a few keepers but had to work for em'. It didnt seem to matter if you jigged our pulled, got fish both ways. However I did put a stinger on the v/j after I lost 2 really nice fish. Fish I kept were males so I cant tell ya how the eggs looked. But the baby fish batter was still real firm so Id say another week or so and we'll be good to go. But what do I know? water temp. 43-45. most fish were boated in 13-15 fow.

lol - props to you for going out in that crowd. You could not have paid me to fish in that kind of traffic.

As long as you have some sense of boat control while difting its not to bad. And you can learn alot from fishing that tight w/ other boats. You just have to know what to look for. I think I wuold have paid admission to sit on top of that docked grain barge with a pair of binos.
