Got out for an hour & a 1/2 this morning and worked a 3" pearl twister tail on a 1/16th oz jig.
Heard a splash behind me (was facing downriver) so I spun around and let fly a cast.
This catfish just slammed the jig and headed for the heavier current.

Isnt it a great feeling to not know what is on the other end of the line!? You keep up the hope that its that 20 inch smallie or 6lb walleye, just to find out its a catfish.
Dont get me wrong, i love to catch nice cats, but you keep up the hope only to be dissapointed when you see what it is
