Default Goose hunting "?"

I'm looking to get out Sunday morning near Minooka. Anyone know if they are flying around out there yet? Buddy of mine went yesterday over in Indiana along the KKK river (not on the water but in a field relatively close by). They didn't see or hear anything there in the 3 hours they sat. Just don't want to waste the time if nothing's moved into the area yet.

We did go out and we did see some. They just weren't close enough to hear us calling. If they did they didn't respond to it. We heard some shooting over by the river, hope it was some of you guys. Beautiful morning though, it was better than layin' around the house.

Hunted the cooling lake on Wednesday and it was terrible. Hoping this weather gets some birds down. Hope to have a better report about monday evening, might try for deer on friday but maybe ducks instead.

One of the biggest flocks of lawn rats (1000+???) I ever saw went over me about 3 pm. Smaller ones around too. I am 100 miles south of Chicago if that helps any.
