I hope you're right. Because the last few years the show has been a terrible waste of time and money.

They got rid of all the junk, but they also reduced size quite a bit I believe.
The entire show is now in hall A, thats the big room directly ahead of the escalators where all the resorts were and west to where the boats were, and thats it. So it looks quite a bit smaller. Would be nice if it were all hunting & fishing and was as big as it was in the past with the hunting hall upstairs....then it would be worth the parking and entry costs.

Sure would have been nice if they would have relocated the show to Schaumburg Convention center. Tons of free parking.

That's why I don't and won't attend these shows. I just can't bring myself to pay to spend my money.
Besides, I can find all the information on the internet and just call with any questions I need answered.
I have three trips scheduled for this ice season already and have had them scheduled for a few weeks.

I hear that. The last time I went it was $10 to park and $7 to get in or vice versa. With gas and tolls, I was out $25 just to get in the door. You gotta get a lot of lures on sale to get that back. But I guess if you're talking about entertainment and a way to spend an afternoon in the winter, it's worth it. Obviously, I won't miss the Tinley show.

I can't even remember the last time I was there. Some time in the mid 90's. Parking at that time was close to 12.00. that was enough for me.
