I'm up in MN right now. It's FREEZING with cold front that came through (low of 25 last night) but afternoons have been better for all around bite. Bass / eyes. Have actually been trolling rapalas at night. The big # 18s long line and have caught some real giants. Biggest fish last night was 30". Pics to follow.

The fish still need to eat. Can't catch em on the couch!!

DPR is so high by me, I can't walk through the woods to get to the river... Any more rain and I'll be able to fish out of my yard...

I went out and hit Maple Lake at Meachum Grove this morning for several hours. Not even a follow up. I did get a couple taps on a jig from some gils, but that was it.
There were two of us out there, we tried jigs, cranks, spinners. We went big then small, changed colors, and we left skunked and out of ideas.
Well theres always tomorrow

I went to a private pond Wed. The largemouth weren't biting except for some small ones caught on worms. However the bluegills were in a biting mood, I caught a lot of them, and even some big rock bass. So the fish are biting except for the big Largemouth. It was pretty windy that day, so I guess the wind didn't bother them either.

Rivers always get less impact from cold fronts. Unfortunately they are really high. I would go lakefront right now for the eve bite should be awesome Smallie fishing.
