Default Asian Carp News

Was reading that they are going to reverse the flow on the Chicago River again. Tried to post a link to the story but it kept flagging it as spam!

Wonder how this will affect the lake.

Try posting it without the [URL] brackets... By reversing, do you mean they are letting the Chicago river run into it and blocking the I&M canal???

yup, block off the canal and undo Chicago's 8th wonder-of-the-world backwards river. I read it too. Turns out half of the river flow is wastewater anyway.

A buddy of mine did one of those "rent a yak" trips on the Chicago River not long ago and he had to sign a hold harmless agreement that he was aware that if he went in the water he could only have 15 minutes of exposure before it became a health hazard!

Only way I could get the link to show is break it in 2 pieces. I dropped the "URL" brackets and the text just vanished. Put the 2 lines together and you have the article. Its really just a small blurb as a follow up tosome of the plans they have been talking about for months.
