We do not sully our sacred fishing grounds with trash.
Sadly, when fishing at the montres lake the trash and stench of rotting urine is just part of the charm and ambiance that comes with the territory.
Got out early and hit a couple spots. I am so surpprze as my first spot sucked...dead sea city. I made a quick move after seeing some other fishers connecting while throwing shed rips. I put down my stuff only to look up and see the one and only:
DedFisher!!!!!! I'm glad to see that he has not had a haircut in quite some time which enabled me to easily recognize him.
We struck up a conversation and agreed against using the soft crab. After about 45 minutes of jigging we each had a respectable limit.
The bite slowed down to a slow pick and to a non-existent state by around 7:30 or so.
Perchs are indeed big big BIG at the montres lake, as DF managed to land his PB pigopotomus perch that we taped at 15".
