Default Anyone launched at 95th st lately?

Just wondering if there is a season pass for launching at 95th or is it 25$ each time? Has anyone fished by boat at 95th street bridge lately ?

The pass from 2011 for the chicago harbors is still good. You can buy a 2012 pass starting on May 1st that will last through April 21st of 2013.

If you dont have a pass for now you are stuck with the $25/ launch until then. 95th street used to be free until they put a tender there, and you could still beat her to the launch and wait for her to leave. Now that there is a meter at the launch (and hayes st launch), you are stuck paying. Havent heard of anyone trying to risk it. That wouldnt be honest, but curious if there is any enforcement........

Duncan thanks for the info. I haven't launched there in a couple years and heard some talk about a toll gate there.

I launched out of 95th last yr. There is a meter box that you have to pay . Credit card or cash ( it wont eccept $20s ) for a $25 launch fee . WTF . It spits out a ticket that you put on your dash . Its like gettin robbed to go fishin . Rumor has it , The DNR is checking boats comin back in . Be Legal , Be Safe .

Yes you "MUST" pay the machine or take your chances! The ticket is for $50 but if you decide not to pay and get away with a few times you might be ahead of the game. Not sure it's just a thought. But I have seen a truck and trailer with a nice yellow boot on the front tire, and several tow vehicles with tickets under thier wiper. If you have more than 3 outstanding parking tickets with the city you get da boot, and find out later your tax return was a little short when the city gets it's share!

The law abiding citizen I am always pays that nice little solar powered machine...... .
